E3 2010: Target To Have Own Booth, Announce Gaming "Reinvention"

Discount retailer Target has announced that it will once again have a presence at the E3 trade show by providing a sort of "break room" for show attendees, but it may be making a game-related announcement of its own.
Target's "Bullseye Lounge" will be in the middle of the show floor, offering free Wi-Fi, charging and electronic cleaning stations, and an interactive video wall, along with free snacks and drinks.

It will also feature "a sneak peek at Target's new video game reinvention," according to a press release.

"E3 embodies the passion and excitement of the gaming community and having a unique presence there allows us to illustrate our commitment to the video game industry and reinforce Target as a destination for gamers," said the retailer's SVP March Schindele.

The lounge will also have playable versions of Ubisoft's upcoming games. It is a chance for Target to gain awareness in gamers' minds. Wal-Mart, Best Buy, and GameStop usually win over when it comes to gamer selection.

E3 runs from June 15 to June 17.
