Besides the big rumor that the Apple Tablet will most likely be named iSlate, MacRumors points to a fscklog discovery that has kicked off the hunt for what an Apple Magic Slate might be.
The Christmas Holidays are a time of magic, but Apple uses magic all year round for instance in the newly released Magic Mouse. The shell company that registered iSlate also has a registered the trademark for Magic Slate.

MacRumors's guess is that the Apple Magic Slate could be a tablet accessory for the Mac. The name would make sense and a multi-gesture tablet would be a great accessory next to the magic mouse.
January 2010 could become a very exciting month for Apple fans as current rumors point to an event on January 26th, where Apple will make some announcements.
January will pass very quickly for gadget fans as it will start with the CES 2010 that will bring plenty of shiny new tech gadgets and before you know it we will be knee deep in Apple news later next month.
