Google has replaced their logo today with a full, working copy of the game Pac-Man. The Google Blog explains that this is in celebration of the iconic protagonist's 30th birthday. Clicking the “insert a coin” button brings the whole game to life.

The original sounds and visuals have been brought back for this little trip down memory lane. Adding a second coin even allows you to bring Ms. Pac-Man into the game. Pac-Man is controlled with the arrow keys or by clicking, while Ms. Pac-Man uses the WASD keys.

Of all the Google “doodles”, this is my favorite. Can't we just keep this one forever?
