Google unveiled Froyo, Android 2.2, at the Google I/O conference last week. Last night review units of the Nexus One got upgraded with Android 2.2 to much surprise.
Techcrunch and other sites who have received a Nexus One review unit at launch can now fool around with a beta release of Froyo.

Froyo has apparently the fastest mobile browser in the world. We will see if this holds up in real life in the next days when full reviews of Froyo on the Nexus One will be published.

Update:
According to Phandroid you can trigger a manual update on your Nexus One to Froyo. There are just 8 steps to a faster Android OS on your Nexus One.
