Rocker Steve Ouimette is bringing a slate of new tracks to Guitar Hero 5 and Band Hero, right in time for gamers who suddenly have a lot of free time. In honor of the start of summer, six of Ouimette's songs will be available as free downloads.
"God Save the Queen (GH Version)," "Il Canto degli Italiani (GH Version)," "La Marseillaise (GH version)," "Lied der Deutschen (GH version)," "Marcha Real (GH version)" and "The Star-Spangled Banner (GH version)" will all be available for free on June 8. It's one of the biggest free DLC offers in the history of Guitar Hero and Rock Band. Usually, free content consists of one promotional track here or there.

In addition to the free songs, Activision announced today 9 other tracks that will be making their way to Band Hero and Guitar Hero 5:

The Stone Temple Pilots:
- Between The Lines
- Plush
- Sex Type Thing

Alice Cooper:
- I'm Eighteen
- School's Out
- Welcome To My Nightmare

All Time Low
- Dear Maria - Count Me In - Weightless

These tracks will be making their way to the music game DLC libraries over the next few weeks.
