Acer Stream Gets Official

Just one day after gaining FCC approval Acer's new smartphone has been announced with an official press release. They have dropped the 'Liquid' part of the name, leaving this smartphone as the Acer Stream. The Stream has a 3.7” WVGA display, 1.67 million colors, and a 2000:1 contrast ratio.

It brags 3G, HSDPA 7.2 Mbps, with Bluetooth and WiFi n. The Stream is powered by the mighty Snapdragon processor, and backed up by 512 MB of RAM. This mobile runs Android 2.1 at launch, and is capable of recording video in 720p. Add in a 5 MP camera, integrated GPS, 2 GB of internal memory, HDMI out and a microSD slot (32 GB) and you have a smartphone as fine as any on the market. Well done, Acer.
