Samsung is the forerunner in 3D TV sales world-wide. Samsung said according to Chosun that they sold 270,000 3D TVs world-wide. This sales number is estimated to translate to 90% market share.
Samsung was first to ship 3D TVs and has a large line-up now on the market. Just look at Amazon. LG, Sony and Panasonic started later and with a smaller line-up.

Once all the Mitsubishi DLP TV owners get the 3D Adapter, Mitsubishi might as well have the largest install base of 3D TVs in the U.S. market.
