I have become a bit jaded over the last few years from the trade show circuit. The problem for me is that there is no clear and compelling reason to attend these shows any more. As a gadget hound who writes about this stuff the gear is unveiled at the same time online as it is at the show typically, so the benefit is actually in being at your desk to write about it at the time, not at the show where you may or may not be able to write as soon as the gear is unveiled.

The other big problem I have with Computex this year is that there has been nothing that is interesting to me unveiled so far. The coolest thing so far has been the unveiling of the AMD Fusion APU. Other than that the rest of the gear is stuff that we already knew about long ahead of the show.

I am surprised at the lack of new stuff, maybe some companies are holding back their best gear for later in the show, it does have several more days to run. So far, there isn't anything that has really caught my attention. Have you seen anything at the show that you have looked at and thought, "wow that's cool", and if so let us know.
