Inventec is about to add another hot-looking Android handheld to the world. The Dr. Eye (via Engadget) runs Android 1.6 and should be up to 2.1 before it launches “pretty soon”. The rough price point was given as $400.

So what do you get for your fat stack of clams? A 4.8” VGA touchscreen, folding QWERTY keyboard, Marvell 624 processor, 4G, WiFi and a front-facing webcam. Nothing in there is going to break the handheld world, but that doesn't stop this little MID from being nifty. Any bites?
