Western Digital has been offering its WD Live HD media streamer for a while now. The company has announced a new version of the device today called the Live Plus HD Media player. The big difference between this version and the older versions is in support for streaming services.

The WD TV Live Plus can stream Netflix in addition to other online services like YouTube, Pandora, Flickr, and more. I don't get why Hulu isn't one of the streaming services specifically mentioned, it's the only one I really care about.

The device can be hooked to your network to stream media from computers, hard drives, and other NAS devices. The device supports full 1080p playback and can be connected to the web via Ethernet or WiFi. It is available now for $149.99.
