Google Navigator is now available in a larger swathe of the world than ever before. The Google Mobile blog announced today that Google Maps Navigation 4.2 is live in Austria, Belgium, Canada, Denmark, France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Portugal, Spain and Switzerland. All Android devices with 1.6 or higher will be able to use Nav 4.2.

Search by voice is now active for French, German, Italian and Spanish. Navigator will help you get through British roundabouts, map out gas stations, and find restaurants and hostels with ease. Getting lost in Europe just got a little bit more difficult.
