Notion Ink's Adam: Right On Track

Notion Ink's highly anticipated Adam tablet has been the focus of delay rumors lately. SlashGear sat down with Notion Ink founder Rohan Shravan to get the straight scoop on what is going on with the Adam. Apparently, the company has just finished their final round of investment for the product.

The Adam is still due to launch in Q3 2010. Notion Ink believes they will be able to produce around 100,000 units per month. They are also considering a second tablet platform. The Adam will be available with and without a transflective display, while this new platform would be designed for cost-efficiency and ultimate battery-efficiency.

Notion Ink claims to have some “wonderful” UI innovations coming down the pipe along with the Adam. Rohan believes their email app could become the “biggest differentiation” for the Adam. Now, if the darn thing would just launch...
