A group of hackers caused a stir by exposing the email address of Apple iPad owners.
CrunchGear reports that the security breach happened through a public script on the AT&T site that returns email addresses when queried with iPad ICC-IDs.
AT&T has closed the script, but a list of 114,000 emails have been extracted and published.

Besides the email address there was no other data exposed.
The iPad itself is not responsible for this security issue and spammers anyway already know your email address.
