The HTC HD2 is a phone so cool it almost makes Windows Mobile 6.5 palatable. Now word comes out of WMPU that there is evidence of an updated HD2 with a sliding keyboard. Registry keys in the HD2's ROM mention the HTC Leo-S. Whatever this device is, it has the correct registry keys for a device with a sliding QWERTY keyboard.

The HD2 has those same keys, so don't get too excited. The Leo-S definitely bears looking out for, though. A Windows Phone 7 handset that is basically an HD2 with a sliding keyboard would sell like hotcakes.
