The Microsoft Media event at the E3 2010 is still going on, but the Kinect is more than just jumping around in front of a TV.
Microsoft applies the controller free interface to media control as well. This is possible by voice control. Yes the Xbox 360 can understand your commands. "Xbox, play music!". "Xbox, play video!".

The demos worked pretty well. Video Kinect also offers video conferencing with automatic camera following. So you can move around in the room while chatting with your friend.

The Xbox 360 with Kinect is becoming the central brain in your living room and is not just a hot device for gamers.
If Microsoft is adding an accessory to control other AV devices in my living room it would be perfect. Sony your move.

E3 2010 will start on June 15th and we will be at the show to bring you first hand coverage of the hottest new gaming gear. We expect to see and go hands on with the Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Move and Kinect for Xbox 360.
