A company called GenosTV has shown off its new round Cyclops universal remote control. The device was first designed to be used as the remote for the GenosTV Cable box, but has been redesigned to be used as a universal remote.

The remote is shiny chrome and black and has all the keys and buttons that you expect on a universal remote control. Along with the normal keys is also a full QWERTY thumb keyboard. The Cyclops has been released to manufacturing in China.

The remote can also be connected to smartphones via Bluetooth and a version that will connect to game consoles is in the works. I would also assume that the Cyclops can connect to a computer via Bluetooth and it would make a cool HTPC remote.
