When I was a kid, some interesting Laser Tag toys just never really worked. The sensors you had to wear never recorded hits and cheating was as easy as turning sideways. Ubisoft has announced a new real world and video game mash up at E3 called Battle Tag.

The system is a set of sensors and guns that the player wears in the real world. This isn’t some Wii style game where you shoot things on the TV screen. Rather you and the other player actually go outside to play and the game software keeps track of the stats.

The game has a series of sensors that you place outside and are used as objectives. The sensors relay the info back to the game console. The game s set to ship this fall and sounds like a big bag of fail to me.
