Today at E3 2010, Gamer Grub pulled the sheet off of two new flavors of their popular energy snack. Gamer Grub is designed to be easy to eat straight from the package, so you don't coat your keyboard in grease and crumbs. The company claims their snacks are loaded with energy and focus-enhancing...stuff. The girl at their booth was vague on the details.

The new flavors are BBQ and Smores. For your convenience, I've reviewed their other flavors as well.

Pizza: Really good. If you've tried pizza-flavored Pringles, you pretty much know how these taste. The flavor is a little more savory, and the texture is satisfyingly deep and crunchy. These are much more fun to much on than chips. They get my Seal of Approval.

BBQ: These chips taste like they were designed by someone who only knew the taste of barbeque from vague description. That said, they aren't bad. The aftertaste is fantastic, and there are a ton of nuts. You could do a lot worse for game-snacking.

PBJ: I hated these. They tasted like peanut butter and sugar mixed with a melted candybar. Everyone else at the booth seemed to love them, so I may just be crazy here. Buy at your own risk.

Smores: These taste like death. Under no circumstances should you eat, purchase or even stand near smores Gamer Grub. Possession of these things should count as a war crime. (I didn't like them-too sweet!)
E3 2010 will start on June 15th and we will be at the show to bring your first hand coverage of the hottest new gaming gear. We expect to see and go hands on with the Nintendo 3DS, Playstation Move and Kinect for Xbox 360.
