SteelSeries is most known for its line of PC gaming peripherals. The company was on hand at E3 this week and has unveiled a new gaming headset aimed at the Xbox 360. The company has two headsets in the new Spectrum series with the 4xb and the 5xb.

The Spectrum 5xb is a premium headset that connects to the Xbox 360 with a wire. It has large hear-through cloth ear cushions that fit around the ear. The drivers are 40mm SunDancer units to provide positional audio. The cord is braided nylon and an adjuster and mic are included.

The 4xb headset is an entry level set with the same cloth over the ear cushions, a retractable mic, and an optimized sound stage. The AudioMixer works with both headsets and lets players hook any 3.5mm headphones with mic to the Xbox for playing. Pricing and availability are unknown.
