I have seen a lot of iPhone and iPod docks over the years that are made to look like all sorts of things. I have laid eyes on a few designed to look like crystal, though most of them are actually made form plastic of some sort.

A company called CalypsoCrystal has unveiled a dock for the iPhone that is actually carved out of a big chunk of real lead glass crystal by hand. The dock is made using techniques that have been part of crystal making for 300 years according to the maker.

From a molten ball of glass to the very attractive finished dock, the whole process is very cool. There are several different designs including the Aurora for $349, the Beau for $199, the Celestia for $199, and the Dune for $199. You can order them online right now.
