Perfect World had one of the more impressive spread's of MMORPGs at E3 2010. One of their titles, Battle of the Immortals brags the most robust mount/pet system in the genre. Every character in BoI will be able to have pets, and every single monster can potentially be turned into a pet. There is also a huge variety of mounts, including a two-seater steampunk wheel and a giant chariot that can hold four.

Both mounts and pets can be upgraded. Better mounts provide different bonuses (and look totally badass) while better pets are a force to be reckoned with on the battlefield. Literally any monster you can kill has the potential to drop an item allowing you to summon him as a mount. Run across a monster that really catches your eye? Farm it until you own it.

BoI has a lot of other innovative little features. Players are eased into (and addicted) to the game through a series of escalating time-based rewards. Play for ten minutes, and you'll be gifted an adorable saw-wielding koala. Players also get a specific amount of Double EXP Time every week. Stones that increase this time can be found around the world.

Battle of the Immortals plays like every other WoW clone out there. An experienced MMO gamer won't need more than a few minutes to adapt to the basics. Graphically, BoI is nothing special. There are some truly excellent monster and mount designs, but this game mostly looks like a default “fantasy” title.

You can download Battle of the Immortals right now. It is totally free to play, although additional downloadable content can be purchased.
