I am not a big fan of femtocells, not because they aren’t useful. I don’t like them because the carriers want users to buy the femtocell and then pay a monthly price for using them when in fact the use of the femtocell helps their networks and shores up the often shoddy connectivity that many of use endure.

TI is showing off a new femtocell at the Femtocells World Summit in London today that has much more capacity for users than other Femtocells on the market. Many of the femtocells around today only support up to ten users.

The TI femtocell supports up to 32 users at once. This would be the perfect femtocell for an office. The device uses TI silicon along with Azcom and Nash software.
