We first caught a glimpse of the HP Envy 14 back in May along with its larger sibling the Envy 17. HP was promising the machine in June back when it was unveiled. HP as lived up to that promise and the Envy 14 is now up for order on the HP website.

The machine starts at $1099.99 and has a thing 1.1-inch profile. The notebook weighs 5.25 pounds and has Core i3, i5, and i7 CPU options. The screen of the notebook is 14.5-inches wide, LED backlit, and has a 1600 x 900 resolution.

The DVD burner is slot loading and it has a backlit keyboard and an 8-cell battery. Other features include WiFi, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and a mini-display port output along with three USB 2.0 ports and an eSATA port.
