I think that there were lots of us who were surprised when Apple started to approve third party browsers after it typically denied an app that overlapped with functionality it had on the iPhone. Mozilla is riding the wave of approvals for apps and has submitted Firefox Home.

Firefox Home is an appt hat lets the user synchronize their bookmarks and pages form Firefox on their desktop to Safari on the iPhone. The app makes your web history work as soon as you start the iPhone up according to Mozilla.

The app seems pretty cool and Mozilla expects to to be approved without any issues. Exactly when the approval will come is anyone's guess.
