The sales numbers have proven that people like watching movies in 3D, but it is a bit more strenuous for everyone involved in the process, including the usually-pampered actors.
Costas Mandylor told the UK's Press Association that filming Saw VII, which will be the first Saw movie to be in 3D, was "more tedious and longer" than shooting the previous installments in the film series.

When first asked what it was like to shoot in 3D, Mandylor said it was "er, interesting."

"But it's always fun to do it because it's like family," he added. Mandylor plays central villain and psychopathic killer Mark Hoffman.

"I've been there for four or five years now and we always have a ball in between all the madness," he said.
