I've gotta feeling that James Cameron's gonna have a good night...a good, good night. That's because he just signed on to direct the Black Eyed Peas' upcoming 3D movie.
The music group's single "I Gotta Feeling" was crowned the best-selling song on iTunes, and now they're going to the big screens with a brand new movie. In 3D. With the director of the two top-selling movies in US history.

"We have the biggest director because we are the biggest group on the planet," said Black Eyed Peas frontman will.i.am in an interview with the BBC.

Cameron directed the 1997 movie Titanic, which held the title of the top-grossing theatrical movie ever until 2009, when his own Avatar toppled the previous record.

The storyline behind the Black Eyed Peas movie hasn't really been discussed yet, but with Cameron behind it, it will probably be a worthwhile movie in its own right.

No date has been set for the release of the movie. Heck, there's not even a title yet.
