If I were a middle school student in a school where they gave a course that had anything to do with video games, I would be taking it. AMD has announced that middle school called Dandelion Middle School in Beijing is offering a course in game development.

The course uses AMD Activate! game development tools. The course is aimed at kids from 13 to 15 years of age and includes four-week long workshops.

The students develop games that encourage players to be a conscious citizen. The workshops will be taught by the Parsons The New School for Design and are expected to reach about 480 students.
