A new Eee PC is en route, and it promises to be one monster of a machine. Engadget reports that the 1215N will pack a dual-core 1.8 GHz processor; the D525 CPU. It will also use Nvidia's Optimus technology to switch between the Ion 2 and its integrated graphics card.

Expect a ship date on or around August 23rd. No hard price info exists, but a source has said that it "should" be below $500. Hopefully there will prove to be truth to that rumor. Fingers crossed!
