You might not recognize the cartoon character Miffy. Miffy is a rabbit that is similar to Hello Kitty in that it is aimed at kids but has an unnatural adult following in Japan. Onkyo has announced that it is offering a Miffy netbook.

The netbook is the basic C4 machine from Onkyo and has an Atom N450 CPU, 1GB of RAM, 160GB of storage, and a 10.1-inch LCD that is LED backlit. The resolution of that LCD is 1024 x 600. The machine also has WiFi and more.

The big draw is that the machine has Miffy on the lid and a special Miffy UI with cartoon characters and other features. The machine can be had with Windows 7 Starter or XP Home. Pricing is unknown as is availability.
