Fans of the BlackBerry are probably still salivating from the last video of the new OS in action. Now the Research in Motion blog has posted up a second preview of BlackBerry 6. The universal search feature was shown off, and users will now have the ability to simultaneously post messages to a variety of social media sites at once.

BlackBerry 6 actually looks like a modern OS, something RIM has been trying to get right for a while now. The UI is extremely bright, fluid and clear and the web browser has seen some major improvements. Whether this facelift will be enough to draw non-enterprise customers over to the BlackBerry remains to be seen, but BlackBerry 6 represents the best response to the iPhone that RIM has been able to manage.
