The Samsung Galaxy Tablet could be launching in very short order. Forbes reports that Samsung has just confirmed that the Tab will be launching before October. It will have two cameras and a built-in GPS, along with WiFi and 3G data connection options.

The OS will be Android (probably 2.1 or 2.2) and we can probably expect either a 1 GHz processor or a dual-core 1.5 GHz chip. Screen size looks to be around the same as on the iPad.
