Aside from DirecTV, almost no broadcasters are offering 3D TV content right now, so when Fios gets just a one-time 3D show, it's sadly an actual big deal.
WealthTV, a largely unknown lifestyle network focusing on luxury goods, will be presenting an episode of its series "Wealth on Wheels Classic" available in 3D, exclusively to Fios.

"As we progress with 3D on FiOS TV, programming like this from WealthTV gives our customers a chance to see what 3D on FiOS is really all about," said Verizon's director of content strategy and acquisition Trivia Lynch in a statement.

ESPN 3D was the first dedicated 3D channel in the world, which launched at the start of the World Cup and just recently aired the Home Run Derby baseball event in 3D. DirecTV, AT&T, and Comcast are the only ones offering ESPN 3D at the moment.

Lynch added, "We look forward to providing more 3D programming like this."
