The word from Apple is out; your iPhone 4 needs a case if you don't want to worry about mucking its reception up. You could go with one of the free cases Apple has agreed to provide, or you can make a somewhat quirkier choice. The Quirky Tilt (via SlashGear) is made of hard plastic and a soft rubber front. It has a weird, jagged design that sets it apart from every other case out there.

The top part of the Tilt can actually break away and act as a stand for your iPhone. You can buy this neat new case for $28 in black and white / purple. If you buy it, be sure to call Apple and try to get a refund. Hey, it can't hurt.
