The HP TouchSmart tm2 has just seen a major upgrade. Electronista reports that Hewlett-Packard has just added the option to stick a Core i5 in that baby. The processor is still 1.3 GHz, but it now supports hyperthreading and will have the ability to act like a quad-core.

You'll still have the option to grab a Mobility Radeon HD 5450 graphics card and up to 8 GB of RAM. A Core i5 will add $75 to the $830 price tag, or $125 with the graphics card. It comes stock with 4 GB of RAM and between 320 GB and 500 GB of space. Not a bad value for under $1000.
