Panasonic announced in Japan two new 3D TVs with integrated 3D Blu-ray player. The Panasonic 3D Viera TH-P46RT2B and TH-P42RT2B mark the world's first 3D TVs with integrated Blu-ray player.

The Plasma panel used on the 3D Viera RT2B TVs provides a 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio and full HD resolution. Besides the 3D capabilities the RT2B TVs are connected (e.g.: offering Skype) and feature a 500GB HDD for recording.
For 3D the Panasonic TY-EW3D10W 3D shutter glasses are required. The new Panasonic 3D Viera TH-P46RT2B and TH-P42RT2B will start shipping in August. If Panasonic will also offer all-in-one 3D TVs outside of Japan is not known yet. Panasonic is currently offering a line of 3D Plasma TVs in the US.
