The closest I have ever come to building my own furniture was putting together my desk from that assembly required office furniture collection at Office Depot. If you want to build your own furniture and have a bunch of old computers and gadget lying around, this is the perfect idea.

The DIY circuit board table is made from two tables. The table inside the wood on glass outer table holds the circuit boards and hardware. Lighting around the edges of the external table lets everything inside be seen.

Most of the parts the builder used came from his first PC, an Intergraph 6000 series machine. You will also find parts form old modems and other gadgets inside the table as well.
