Olive Telecom has just announced India's first 3.5g Android tablet. The Olive Pad has a 7" display and will launch with Android 2.1, although an upgrade to 2.2 is believed to be very near. It has a resolution of 800x480 and is built for international use.

The VT100 (Android Authority) has 3.5G HSUPA, WiFi & Bluetooth. It has a 3 MP camera as well as a front-facing camera. There's also turn-by-turn GPS navigation and the ability to act as a smartphone and handle voice/video calling. It has an SD slot, 512 MB of memory and 512 MB of RAM. It'll hit in India for between $425-$530. No word yet as to whether it'll see a wider release.
