Carrier Billing Coming To Android?

Android customers are about to have a new billing option. While T-Mobile customers are able to charge apps to their bill, that same privilege has been denied to users on other carriers for quite a while. Now AndroidGuys reports certain comments from Tim Bray at Google point towards the imminent inclusion of carrier billing.

These new payment options will require a major change in the Developer Agreement. Since those changes will take at least 30 days to enter into effect, we are unlikely to see carrier billing hit for a month or so. Still, good to know it is on the way!
