Over the weekend reports of shortages of the iMac and the Mac Pro at Apple Stores appeared.
Plugged-in John Gruber mentioned in a post yesterday that new Mac Pros, speed-bumped iMacs, and a new 16:9 27-inch Cinema Display get released "hypothetically" today.

He adds that the Magic Trackpad is "Doubly-hypothetical" up for a release today. Usually John Gruber is not letting out predictions lightly. We will keep an eye on the Apple Store during the night to see if it will go down for maintenance.
Update:
The Apple Store is back online and Apple launched new iMac with Core i3 CPUs and SSD option.
