Apple launched on Tuesday a new line of iMacs. The new entry level iMac have now a new Intel Core i3 CPU.
MacWorld already has the new iMacs in their labs and the published benchmarks of the 21.5-inch iMac base model with the Core i3 3.06Ghz CPU.
The tests of the new entry-level iMac show that its 20% faster than the Core 2 Duo iMac it replaces.

Besides the CPU, the new ATI graphics is where you win the most. The new Core i3 iMac with the Radeon HD 4670 discrete graphics is able to display nearly four times as many frames per second as its predecessor.
