Apple has already developed a fix for the security hole in the mobile Safari browser on the iPhone. CNET reports that Apple has confirmed as much, but not the release date of the iOS 4 update.
We have reported about JailbreakMe, which makes it super easy to jailbreak your iPhone, but this comes at a price. JailbreakMe uses a PDF loader related security hole in the iPhone browser.

If you can jailbreak via this hole, hackers can do many other things including stealing all your data stored on the iPhone.
Maybe Apple is already releasing iOS 4.0.2 today to fix this security issue.

Update:

iOS 4.0.2 has been released.
