The Motorola Droid will gain access to Adobe's Flash on August 18. This huge upgrade in your browsing experience comes slightly behind the upgrade to Android 2.2. Droid Life states that Flash will come to the Android market, and users will have to download it from there. An additional plugin will be required to make Flash work.

Since Droid-Life has furnished actual photos of the internal Verizon document announcing the August 18 date, it is probably safe to consider this 'confirmed'. Droid users, you're only a few days off from the promised land.
