Sanyo has a new version of their dual-camera full HD Xacti camcorder ready to hit the market. Gearlog reports that the VPC-CA102YL can record MPEG4 video at underwater depths of up to 10 feet. This camera is a svelte 5.5 ounces, which makes it light enough to fit easily in a fanny pack and be comfortable while snorkeling.

In addition to 480 minutes of video recording time, this new Xacti can take 14 megapixel still photos. It has a wide-angle lens and a 5X optical zoom. There is also a double-range zoom that gives you 12X zoom for telephoto recording. We can expect to see this bad boy ship later in August for $349.99.
