One of the most recession-proof markets that any company can even be part of is the calculator industry, and TI has reinvigorated the market with a brand new touchscreen graphing calculator.
The calculator industry is kind of like the toothpaste industry. Sure, you have a new product every now and then but for the most part it's a product that people need to have but not one that really fills people's imaginations.

However, the TI-Nspire gives a new look at the market with a very large screen that features touch input.

This will surely make any kid look like the big man on campus...well, at least around the nerd community. And honestly, that's the only community that we ever belonged to in college.

The Nspire also comes with a brand new PC software kit that allows users to export data and gives them access to full color charts and other syncing options.

The new touchscreen device is available at most big-box stores that you'd expect, like Office Depot, Best Buy, and Wal-Mart.
