Apparently it will not be a webOS Christmas this year. According to Engadget HP told its employees that the webOS Tablet computer will be launched in Q1 of 2011. This would suggest that HP is announcing the webOS Tablet at the CES 2011.

The internal project name for the webOS Tablet is confirmed again as Hurricane.

It is clear that HP needs some time to harness the Palm webOS for new devices. It is never easy to integrate a new company, especially when this new unit is introducing a new operating system.
