The Verizon iPhone gets more real every day.

Almost each day we hear a new rumor about the unannounced Verizon iPhone. This time Daring Fireball unleashed a lengthy story about the Verizon iPhone and reveals in it that the Verizon iPhone is known internally as N92.

According to John Gruber the CDMA iPhone is in EVT (Engineering Verification Test). The next step would be DVT (Device Verification Test), which is one step away from going into production. What this means is Apple is working on the CDMA iPhone 4, but whether or not they will be able to get it ready to launch in the rumored January 2011 timeframe is still very much up in the air.
