The Coloud Iron Man headphones are based on the plain model 12 headphones. The driver is 40mm and has a frequency range of 20Hz to 20001 Hz. The plug is 3.5mm and the coiled cord is 1.2 meters long. There are several styles of these headphones available including sports versions with professional team logos.

When it comes to headphones there are all sorts of choices on the market with some coming in at crazy expensive prices and others selling for relatively little money. The Coloud Iron Man headphones will come in somewhere in the lower end of the headphone market with a price of about $40 online. These headphones may be hard to find considering how popular marvel stuff is so you might need to shop around.

The Coloud Iron Man headphones I am reviewing are made in a red and maroon color scheme with a gold and maroon image of Iron man on each ear cup. Iron Man is also written on top of the headband and under the headband is the Marvel logo. The wire that holds the earpieces to the headband and allows them to adjust is gold colored.

The headphones adjust through a wide range of sizes and fit my medium size noggin all the way down to my son's small size head. The Coloud Iron Man headphones did fit quite snugly on my head, which may be a good or bad thing depending on what you like. If you are active and headphones tend to fall off when you move, tight is a good thing. However, if you listen for long periods while sitting at a desk you may find them a bit too snug.

The ear cups are small and unless you have tiny ears, the cups will sit on your ears not over them. The ear cups are padded and the speakers are covered with foam as well. That foam cover for the speakers is a good thing because the cups are shallow and your ears may hit the speaker grill. Those ear cups are comfortable when worn, but they do get uncomfortable with extended wear and need adjusted.

The somewhat uncomfortable ear cups aside, the sound quality from the Coloud Iron Man headphones considering the $40 price tag is actually quite good. The Coloud Iron Man headphones have nice bass, not the best I have heard, but certainly in the top of the field for me. The headphones have nice, deep bass that doesn't overwhelm the mids and highs making for well rounded sound.

I really like the coiled cable that is used on the headphones. It easily uncoils when you need a long cable, but when you don’t need all the length coils keep the cable out of the way for the most part. I tested the Coloud Iron Man headphones using my iPhone and they worked great. I would like to see a version with a mic, these would be nice headphones for phone users who like to listen to music on the go and make calls if a mic was added.

  • Cool Iron Man design
  • Well built
  • Good sound

  • Ear cups could be better padded

The Coloud Iron Man headphones are a very cool set of headphones for fans of comics and Iron Man of any age. The headphones are more than just style too; they offer nice sound quality as well.
