Panasonic has announced that it has added Twitter capability to its line of Viera Cast plasma HDTVs. The new Twitter feature will also be offered by Panasonic on Viera Cast Blu-ray players later.

Twitter is the latest feature to come to the Viera Cast system that gained Netflix, Pandora, and more earlier in the year. Using the new feature on the plasma sets users can send all the 140 character messages their little heart's desire.

The Panasonic sets that will offer the new feature include the VT25 and VT20 series along with the G25 and G20 series. Blu-ray players to get the feature later include the BDT 350/300, BD85/70V/65, and B500.
