One manufacturer bets it all on Microsoft.

LG has some serious designs for Microsoft' new mobile OS. What HiFi reports that the manufacturer will be betting quite a lot of their future on the success of WP7. European models will hit in October as part of the Optimus line of phones. They will have 3.8" displays.

A month later, LG will roll out with US WP7 smartphone. These will be similar models, with added-in sliding hard QWERTY keyboards. LG told Korean reporter that they expect WP7 to outperform both Android and iOS. That's quite a long shot, but I guess someone has to bet on Microsoft.
