ioSafe adds more connectivity

Not long ago I reviewed the ioSafe Solo external storage device and liked it. The drive is rugged and promises to protect your data even if the building floods or catches fire. The only real issue I took with the storage device was that it only had USB 2.0 connectivity.

ioSafe has offered up a new external storage solution with all the ruggedness of the original and lots more connectivity to take advantage of new and faster interfaces. The SoloPro external drive has USB 2.0, USB 3.0, and eSATA connectivity making for much faster backups with large data sets.

The new storage solution will ship on September 1st and will come in several capacities. Those capacities will include a 1TB version for $249.99, a 1.5TB model for $319.99 and a 2TB solution for $419.99. The SoloPro also has a 12 month data recovery warranty included that will save your data even if the rugged drive fails.
